The Three Biggest Dog Events in Poland
Poland hosts many dog-related events, but three of them stand out in particular for their scale, popularity and significance. These are:
- World Dog Show (International Dog Show in Poznań)
This show is one of the most important events in the world of dog breeding and takes place in Poland every few years. Over the course of several days, thousands of dogs of various breeds from all over the world are presented. The event features numerous competitions and displays, with dogs judged by international judges.
- International Dog Show in Warsaw
This show is held annually and brings together hundreds of breeders and dog lovers. The show features competitions for various dog breeds, with winners receiving valuable prizes and titles. It’s also a great opportunity to meet experts, exchange experiences and get advice on breeding and dog care.
- International Dog Show in Kraków
This is another major event on the calendar for dog lovers. Like the two previous shows, it brings together breeders and dog enthusiasts from all over Poland and abroad. The event includes displays, competitions and workshops, with dogs assessed by experienced judges.
All these shows are organised under the auspices of the Polish Kennel Club and aim to promote pedigree dog breeding, spread knowledge about dogs, and bring the dog-breeding community together. They offer breeders a great opportunity to showcase their dogs, while visitors get to see and learn about different dog breeds.
